Checkride Policy

Primary Location

Primary location to conduct check-rides will be: KORL (Orlando Executive Airport)

I am willing to travel for checkrides; however, additional costs will be incurred. Travel fees will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Scheduling & Deposit

• A 50% deposit of the practical test fee non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to reserve a checkride date.

• The remaining flight check fee is due on the day of the checkride and must be paid in cash.

• If a checkride is not completed within 3 months of the initially scheduled date, the deposit is forfeited.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the scheduled checkride will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to retain eligibility for rescheduling.

• A 3-month grace period is provided to complete the checkride without forfeiting the initial 50% deposit.

Retest Policy (Notice of Disapproval)

• If a Notice of Disapproval is issued, the retest fee will be determined at the time.

• If the ground evaluation is unsatisfactory, a full test fee will be required for the retest.

• If the flight portion is unsatisfactory, the retest fee will be 50% of the initial cost.

Discontinuation Policy (Letter of Discontinuance)

• If a Letter of Discontinuation is issued, follow-on Practical Test fees will be determined at the time.
